These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GhostRadar (the "App") and any related websites, services, or features provided by Lightmode ("Lightmode", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using GhostRadar, you agree to these Terms.
GhostRadar is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to download, purchase, install, or use the App. By using GhostRadar, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms.
GhostRadar is a macOS application that analyzes messaging conversations locally and provides analytics such as response times, streaks, balance, initiative, ghost probability, ghost index, rankings, and similar insights. The App may be offered in multiple tiers, including a free tier and paid tiers such as Gen Z, Pro, and Max. Features, limits, supported sources, availability, and pricing may change over time.
GhostRadar's outputs are heuristic indicators only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or misleading and are not statements of fact about any person's intent, feelings, consent, honesty, loyalty, wrongdoing, or relationship status.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control for your personal, non-commercial use.

Paid plans may be offered as monthly subscriptions, yearly subscriptions, or lifetime purchases. Payments and subscription management are handled by our payment provider (currently Gumroad). Your purchase may also be subject to the provider's terms and policies.
In these Terms, "Message Data" means message content, timestamps, participant identifiers, contact names, imported chat files, and similar source data that you choose to analyze with GhostRadar. "Conversation Analytics" means analytics, scores, rankings, exports, share assets, and related outputs generated by the App from your Message Data.
GhostRadar processes Message Data and Conversation Analytics locally on your device. We do not claim ownership of your Message Data or Conversation Analytics. They remain yours, subject to any rights of other people and any rights held by third-party platforms.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions, and legal bases necessary to collect, import, analyze, export, share, or otherwise use any Message Data or Conversation Analytics with GhostRadar. You are also solely responsible for any conclusions, decisions, actions, communications, or disclosures made based on the App's outputs.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your local data. We are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or deletion of local data.
GhostRadar can work with various messaging sources, including iMessage, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, and Messenger, depending on your plan and the current capabilities of the App. Some sources require you to export your data manually.
You agree to comply with the terms, policies, and technical requirements of each messaging platform when using their data with GhostRadar. We do not control third-party platforms, exports, APIs, file formats, policies, or permissions, and we do not guarantee the continued availability, compatibility, legality, or support of any particular source.
You may use GhostRadar to analyze Message Data that is lawfully available to you for your personal reflective use. You agree not to use GhostRadar to:
The App and its design, code, graphics, content, and branding are owned by Lightmode or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks, branding, or other intellectual property except for the limited license expressly granted above.
Your use of GhostRadar is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please read it to understand how Message Data, Conversation Analytics, Optional Analytics and Diagnostics, subscription and purchase information, and support communications are handled.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, including features, supported messaging sources, compatibility, pricing, plan structure, or availability. Where practical, we will try to provide reasonable notice of material changes.
Some features depend on third-party platforms, operating systems, file formats, permissions, or integrations that may change without notice. We are not responsible if a third-party change causes a feature or source to stop working.
We may release updates, upgrades, fixes, maintenance patches, or improvements from time to time. You may need to install updates to continue using some features or to maintain compatibility or security. We are not obligated to continue any specific source, feature, tier, or enhancement indefinitely except as required by applicable law.
GhostRadar is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that the App, any messaging source, or any output, score, ranking, insight, export, or share asset will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your needs. GhostRadar's analytics are estimates only and should be interpreted with caution.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lightmode will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, relationships, opportunities, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the App, these Terms, third-party platforms, or your use or interpretation of any output from the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lightmode's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the total amounts paid by you, if any, for the App during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lightmode from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App, (b) your Message Data, Conversation Analytics, or anything you import, export, or share through the App, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to downloads, updates, support, paid entitlements, or any online services or features if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, engaged in fraud or abuse, initiated an improper chargeback, or if we are required to do so for legal, operational, or security reasons.
Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms ends immediately. Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including provisions relating to intellectual property, payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles and without limiting any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
For any dispute not subject to mandatory consumer venue rules, the courts of Paris, France will have exclusive jurisdiction.
